Iceland’s beauty and diverse nature makes it the perfect adventure with incredible volcanic landscapes, hot geysers and bubbling mud pools, this land of extremes is one of the most unique and stimulating environments out there. A selection of educationally based itineraries are available depending upon your requirements. Detailed field study notes are available to each group.

Five Day / Four nights Winter Itinerary

Day 1 - Introducing Iceland
Morning arrival from the UK, clear customs and meet your driver and guide. Spend the day visiting the Blue Lagoon, then to Reykjavik for a short city tour and on to visit the Thingvellir National Park and Mid Atlantic ridge. Check in for supper and an overnight stay in the Hveragerdi/Selfoss area with supervised staff time in the evening.

Day 2 Iceland's South Coast
After breakfast, pick up packed lunches and set off along the South Coast of Iceland, stopping on the way to see waterfalls and the glacier Myrdalsjokull. End the day on a volcanic black sand beach to see the columnar basalt and coastal landforms at Vik. Check in for supper and a 2 night stay in the Vik area with supervised staff time in the evening.

Day 3 Glaciers and Icebergs
After breakfast, pick up packed lunches and leave for the Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon. During the day, visits include lava fields, a spectacular gorge, glacial moraines, waterfalls and at the lagoon, see the icebergs either
frozen into the ice or floating out to sea. Return to the hotel in the Vik area for supper and supervised staff time.

Day 4 Geothermal Iceland
After breakfast, pick up packed lunches and return along the south coast, this time taking a route inland to see two of Iceland's most spectacular sights - Gulfoss waterfall and the geothermal area at Geysir where the spouting geyser Strokkur is located. At the end of the day, check in for an overnight stay and supper in the Keflavik area with supervised staff time in the evening.

Day 5 Homeward bound
After an early breakfast, make the short transfer to the airport and check in at approximately 08:00
Return flights to the UK

Four Day / Three nights Summer Itinerary

Day 1 Introducing Iceland
Morning arrival from the UK, clear customs and meet driver and guide. Spend the day visiting the Blue Lagoon,
and exploring the varied geological features of the Reykjanes peninsula. Check in for supper and an overnight stay in the Hveragerdi/Selfoss area with supervised staff time in the evening.


Day 2 Iceland in action
After breakfast, pick up packed lunches and take a circular route to see some of Iceland's most spectacular sights - Thingvellir National Park on the Mid Atlantic ridge, Gulfoss waterfall and the geothermal area at Geysir, where the spouting geyser Strokkur is located. At the end of the day, check in for an overnight stay and
supper in the Hella area with supervised staff time in the evening.


Day 3 Glaciers and Icebergs
After breakfast, pick up packed lunches and leave for Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon. During the day, visits include
lava fields, a spectacular gorge, glacial moraines, waterfalls and at the lagoon,see the icebergs either frozen into the ice or floating out to sea. Return to the hotel in the Hveragerdi or Keflavik area for supper and supervised staff time. Supper may be served before arrival at the hotel.


Day 4 Homeward bound
After an early breakfast, make the short transfer to the
airport and check in at approximately 08:00
